I’m a co-opted Governor at Comber Grove since October 2020. I am a Vice President at Deutsche Bank (DB) and became a governor via DB’s Corporate Social Responsibility volunteering initiative. I am part of the DB’s index administration team and make sure the indices meet the regulatory framework and have the necessary checks and balances.
This is the first time I’ve taken the role of a governor and I’m excited at this challenging opportunity. I live in Southwark and while most of my period as a governor has been during lockdowns, I’m looking forward to visiting the school more often now.
I became a governor as I believe good quality education is the biggest enabler in a child’s life and by volunteering my time as a School Governor, I am able to affect the lives of young people in the best possible way.
