Here at Comber Grove we represent over 30 different nations and languages worldwide. We are proud of our cultural diversity and our teaching of history focuses on different cultures throughout the year (not just in Black History Season) in each and every year group.
As it is Black History Season currently we are running a poster competition and we are asking children to research and present a poster on an influential role model from Black History.
Some examples could be: Rosa Parks, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Mary Seacole, Mae Jemison, Malorie Blackman, Usain Bolt, Barack Obama and many more! Posters need to be informative and colourful, with writing and pictures on it.
Posters are due back in on Monday 28th October after half term.
Wishing you a fabulous half term!
