Keeping in Touch at least Once per Week
We hope that all of you are safe and sound during this strange time. School may be closed however it our duty to make sure that all families are safe and well.
We need to be in touch with you all at least once per week to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
Please make sure that you are connected to www.classdojo.com so that your child can complete daily learning. If you have a problem connecting please contact us and we will help you. Even if your child cannot complete learning every day, upload a photo of something you are doing like baking or exercising, message the teacher or 'like' some posts so that we can see that you are there.
Check our website regularly at www.combergrove.co.uk for updates under ‘parents’ and ‘latest news’.
If you are unable to get online, please contact us (email is above) and we shall get a paper pack of learning to you or you can come and collect it from school.
There are some families that we are yet to be in touch with at all. Please can you ensure that if you are online, you can send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let us know that you are all ok.
We have a duty to report any families we cannot get hold of to the local authority which may result in a call to you from a social worker. If we cannot see that you have connected to ClassDojo and have not received an email from you, a member of the Senior Leadership Team will call you using the numbers on the system. Following this, they will call you at least once per week, unless you can engage via Class Dojo or email.
The school phone is not manned at all times due to school closure but please leave a voice message on the school system and we will get back to you. The mail box is checked once per working day.
The intention behind keeping in touch is to keep our children and you safe and to help you understand that we are here for you as a community.
Keep well and keep in touch,
