The Comber Grove Primary School curriculum is deeply rooted in Global Citizenship. We teach children to think critically about world issues and develop their voice. Each half term has a whole school focus:

We deliver this global curriculum through of: the National Curriculum core and foundation subjects, Religious Education, PSHCE, and a rich enrichment programme for each year group including theatre and drama classes with The Blue Elephant Theatre, dance and fitness sessions with our PE coach and opportunities to create and perform music at a top level with our resident musician. We provide opportunities to collaborate with our local community on projects and plan regular visits to inspire and hook children into their learning.
In May, Year 6 take their Key Stage 2 tests. These test your child’s skills in:
The tests last less than 4 hours. You’ll get the results in July.
The school will send you the results of your child’s tests and teacher assessments.
